Many Eyes - featuring former Every Time I Die vocalist Keith Buckley along with guitarist/bassist Charlie and drummer/bassist/backing vocalist Nick Bellmore - has released their debut single "Revelation" online. The Bellmore brothers, known for their work with Jasta, Kingdom Of Sorrow, Dee Snider, Tim "Ripper" Owens, and more, played, wrote, and produced the track. Watch the visualizer here.
This new song showcases a mix of Buckley's trademark biting lyrics with unexpectedly clean vocals. It initially premiered on SiriusXM's Octane before being made available online. A debut album from Many Eyes is currently in the works for release through Perseverance Media Group.
Buckley shared his thoughts on the song: “My vision for this visual was to present something both familiar and otherworldly. something that feels as if it were IN this world but not OF it. It draws from my love of Jodorowsky’s ‘The Holy Mountain‘ as much as it does my adoration of all Christian iconography. The result is an eerily modern Mystic vibe that seamlessly blends with the theme of the lyrics and the feel of the record as a whole.”
Speaking of the band, he adds: “This is an expression of who I am. I’m letting the music do the talking. I really trusted my collaborators. I’m not interested in being known as a frontman. I just want to be another part of the band who uses his own instrument to complete the picture. That’s what I’m doing with Many Eyes.”
Earlier this week, Many Eyes revealed their first tour. That run will see them heading out with Thursday (performing “War All The Time“) and Rival Schools.(Source: www.metalunderground.com)
