False Fed announce debut album ‘Let Them Eat Fake’

False Fed, the new band comprising vocalist Jeff Janiak (Discharge, Broken Bones), guitarist Stig C. Miller (Amebix, Zygote), bassist JP Parsons, and drummer Roy Mayorga (Nausea, Ministry, Soulfly, Amebix), is set to unleash their debut album titled "Let Them Eat Fake" on October 13.
The recording of "Let Them Eat Fake" was handled by the band, while the mixing duties were carried out by Roy Mayorga. To add the final touch, the album was mastered by Jack Control at Enormous Door (known for working with Darkthrone, Fear, Discharge, Aura Noir).
“Musically, this album touched on something dark and different,” says vocalist Jeff Janiak. Bassist JP Parsons adds, “I’ve always wanted to work with JJ‘s vocals and put something melodic underneath the aggression in his voice, ever since I heard him sing. The actual overall balance of it all just happened though… We just wanted to create something different.”
Alongside the announcement of the debut album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Echoes Of Compromise.
